The heart of Mangkok lies in its diverse menu that offers a delightful journey through the Philippines' rich gastronomic landscape. I discovered this place during the pandemic and keep coming back here for their amazing lomi, but I was hesitant when I heard this place was under new management. Well, I'm no longer worried because they assured me the cooking staff is still the same, and aside from some rearranged tables, this place is still as good as ever. In addition to the lomi today, I also tried pork BBQ, pancit palabok, and lechon kawali, and they are all amazing. The new owner is friendly as well. There are plenty of future menu choices to pick from, but I plan to try the breakfast specials next.

We went there as a group of 6 to try boodle fight, Fillipini party food. You need to book at least a day advance for boodle. When we get there our table was covered by banana leaves and the lady started to build the boodle once all of us arrived. There are a lot of pork, bbq chicken, fish, squid, veges and mango with a bowl of sour soup and a sisig. We lookve the taste and the experience. We couldn't finished and pack it up 2 containners. I'd suggest to go with 7 or 8 people. We also order a halohalo to share. It was a good too!

Maybe the best filipino restaurant in town. I always go back for the Kare-Kare. As far as the other dishes go I would say they are fairly authentic so you can never go wrong. Building and interior is slightly outdated but I guess it adds to it feeling a bit like home

Definitely a five for presentation and flavor. Fairly slow service on a Saturday at noon was to be expected. While the servings are large, I think you paying luxury prices. One pleasant surprise was the fact that there were no bits of bones which I often find in filipino cooking. The beef kare-kare, sweet and sour fish and pork barbecue on a stick are all recommended.

Me and my family had our early Christmas lunch and reserved a table for 7. Food was great - sisig was crunchy, not salty nor oily; chicken was sarap to the bones; grilled squid was phenomenal (my fave); the reliable sinigang na baboy for kids, not too sour but enough to fill your craving; bbq pork was the kids fave; lechon kawali was crunchy and definitely not dry. Accessibility PROS - inside the resto everything is accessible from reception, dining area and washroom. CONS - Front doors are not automatic for wheelchairs. You have to have someone open the door for you. Parking is a little tight due to the next commercial building (autoshop). ALL IN ALL Customer Service was great! Our server was the bestest! If i am not mistaken her name was Mylene. :)

I love the Kare Kare and Pansit in this restaurant. We always order these as these dishes do not disappoint. Their breakfast platter is also so good that can be shared by 3-4 people depending on appetite.
